As a webmaster, I was involved in creating and maintaining a website for The Haitian Times using Wordpress and the Newspack plugins. My responsibilities included technical maintenance of the site to ensure that it was in good working condition, as well as increasing the website's visibility on the web by using effective SEO strategies.
The challenges faced in this project included maintaining the site to ensure that it was up-to-date with the latest design and functionality trends, as well as ensuring good search engine ranking by using the latest SEO strategies.
There were also challenges related to coordinating with different contributors and authors to ensure that content was posted efficiently.To overcome these challenges, I used tracking tools to monitor the site's performance and identify areas for improvement. I also worked closely with the editorial team to ensure that content was of high quality and in compliance with editorial standards.
